Spring Strings!
Congratulations to our 3rd grade students who performed their final violin concert this week for families and friends alike.  They were also joined by our 4th and 5th grade students in the end for a demonstration of what's to come in the years ahead if they stick with their violin lessons!  It is so impressive to watch such an amazing display of talent develop in such a short period of time.  Thank you to Mrs. Canzano for sharing your time and talent with these students!

Friendship Club wraps up their year long
 program at Kings Bowling...

A great way to celebrate the end of a successful endeavor.  Thank you to Mrs. Casey and Mr. Stead for coordinating this cross-age friendship group and celebrating their efforts with a special get together at Kings!

A Picture Perfect Day in Boston!

It was a wonderful day to be exploring Boston, strolling in the Public Gardens and taking a leisurely ride on the swan boats with the Kindergarten classes on Wednesday this week.  We all  strolled through Louisburg Square, explored the statues around the State House, and enjoyed a picnic lunch in the Boston Common.  Thanks for the invite from the K students - I enjoyed every minute of our special day!

A few reminders:
1) Our parking lot and outdoor lighting will be completely redone during this summer beginning on June 28th.  No summer programs will be held at Francis Wyman due to this construction, and parking will not be available at this site until after mid-August.
2) We are looking for a few families to help keep an eye on our school garden during the summer months.  Our garden is planted next to the community garden in the back of FW.  If you are interested in volunteering for 1 week to help water & weed as needed while earning community service hours, please reach out to Julie to sign up for a specific week.  Thanks for helping to keep our garden growing!
